IHCL announces the signing Taj hotel in Indore Madhya Pradesh
New Taj hotel opening: On March 12th, the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), which is famous for being India’s biggest hotel company, announced something important. They said they’re going to build a new Taj hotel in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. This is a big deal because it’s the first time they’re starting a project from scratch, showing they want to grow in a smart and eco friendly way.
This new Taj hotel in Indore will become one of the biggest places for conventions in Central India. It’s going to change how people think about hospitality in that area. The hotel is in a great spot in Indore, right in the middle of where business and culture meet. It’s all set to welcome lots of different kinds of guests, like people traveling for work, tourists, and folks planning events.
In response to the signing, Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, expressed enthusiasm. Stating that the agreement aligns with IHCL’s strategic goal of broadening its presence in India’s prominent business and leisure hubs. Venkatesh pointed out how important Indore is as a place where lots of business and money stuff happens in Central India. That’s why expanding there makes a lot of sense. Working together with Manikaran Commercials Private Limited is a big deal. Because it gives IHCL a chance to bring all its different kinds of hotels to the city.
Some Important Things-
The new hotel has 350 rooms and is located on the Super Corridor. Really close to important IT campuses and not far from big industrial areas and fun places to visit. Guests can try lots of different kinds of food at the restaurant that’s open all day. A special restaurant, a bar, and a nice lounge area in the lobby.
Moreover, The hotel is going to have lots of fun things to do, like swimming in a pool, relaxing at the spa, working out in the fitness center, and playing different sports or enjoying entertainment. They also want to be known as the best place for conventions in Central India, with about 50,000 square feet of really modern event spaces that can be used for all kinds of gatherings.

Another Director at Manikaran Commercials Private Limited, shared how thrilled they are to work with IHCL, a big name in India’s hotel business. They talked about how important this partnership is because it’s bringing a Taj hotel to Indore. They also mentioned how prestigious the Taj brand is, being named India’s Strongest Brand in 2023. This shows their commitment to making luxury even better in the city.
Additionally, Indore is a big city in Madhya Pradesh, sitting by the rivers Kahn and Saraswati. It’s known for its lively culture and busy vibe. Lots of people pass through here on their way to the famous Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. Additionally, With this new hotel, IHCL will have 12 hotels in Madhya Pradesh. These include different kinds of hotels like Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger. They’re also working on building four more hotels.
